(Dress can be formal or smart casual but it must suit the theme of colours)

Ticket Price : $32.00 per person

Payment can be paid to Nadzirah, Suzie, Suhara, Eddie, Khai & Syah

The dateline for the ticket payment is on 15th May 2010

P/S : There will be " The Best Dress Award", so guys wear your BEST ATTIRE!!..=)


So booked now to avoid disappointment. We need your confirmation earlier, since I also need to confirm the booking place.

Regarding the activities of the function, we welcome your suggestions. You are also welcome to do some performance either individuals/group.

Trip to Temburong

Sorry for the overdue info about the trip. Got sidetracked. Anyhow, here's the lowdown about the trip if there is any of you still interested about it.

The Temburong activity will be for 1 day only. No overnights meaning pay less and I'm sure you guys are limited in time either. So it might happen on a Sunday. Spoke with the lady on the other end of the phone line regarding the trip and the tidbits I got are as follows:

• The soonest the people at Outward Bound can get there act all together will be April. Reservations of about 2 months beforehand must be made for any group wanting to apply for their activities.
• Since it is a 1-day event individual health checks are unnecessary though self-declarations of agreeing to join is needed.
  
• The boat trip fare from BSB to Temburong back to BSB is considered a separate payment from the Outward Bound package.
• The same goes for food services too. They don't offer food and drinks. Instead we have to hire another party to supply the services for us.
  

As mentioned its a 1 day trip so the only compulsory payment to be made is the bus trip to the actual location (Batang Duri) which is $120. So if its like 10 people each must pay $12 (yea I know anyone can think up the maths behind it but hey screw-it). The payments for the offered activities are:

• Rafting $20 per person. 7 people & above $15 per person.
• Flying Fox $10 per person. 8 people & above $7 per person.
• High Ropes Challenge Course $15 per person. 8 people & above $10 per person.
• Nature Tour $20 per person for 3 hours.
• Rock Climbing $15 per person. 8 people & above $10 per person.
• Jungle Tracking $25 per person. 8 people & above $20 per person
• Make friends with orangutans $30 per person. If the person looks the same as one its free.

Bear in mind you must be age 15 or above to participate the listed activities. Also a minimum of 4 people (or in the case of rafting 6) must be needed to each activity for it to get a green-light.

Another thing; I will only forward with the Temburong trip if at least 10 people joins in. Any less sorry its not gonna happen. About the issue of food, I'll deal with it if the trip do happen. I'll be honest I haven't thought of it yet so I don't know how much will it cost.

So if any of the cool people of CE23 are still interested and wants to have a piece of the action just type it out on the chat box at the right. If you have any questions also use the chat box. Also if any of you are joining please do type it out as soon as possible so that the activity date will not be pushed back.

Netball tournament under ITB is after the presentation for both boys and girls. Have to make a team of any members as long they are an ITB students. And it is separated tournament. Meaning to say girls tournament and boys tournament. So we'll have fun on that. Venue hasn't decided yet. Will let you all know once it is confirmed.

Anyway, i know this is out of league to this blog but I've been emotionally counting on the remaining time we have left. I hereby, with all my heart, want to apologise of my wrongdoings and feel blessed of knowing all of my lovely mates. I know that i wasn't that kind to you all, but i have to tell you this, I love having you as my companions. I worship every moments we shared.

Shirt is half way done.

Tonight i received a call from Jesrick that he has problems regarding the front printing especially for the ladies shirt. He explained me what the problem is and he wanted me to meet him that night for confirmation for he has the urge of asking permission before doing the printing. So Sher accompanied me at 9pm to the Aewon Factory at Ban 5 Mulaut. It was our first time visiting the place. I was really surprised of the mechanism, how the shirt processes and all. But unfortunately, i didn't even take my camera out. You guys should go there if you have free time. The place is huge. Location (something Parkland something something) is on the right side from the back way of Ban 5 near the bridge. Anyway, about the shirt progress, the back print was satisfying but one. I was not that happy when i first saw it. IT'S GREEN! Our names are perfectly in white but the Civil Engineering is printed in green. Eeeeek! Hope you guys don't mind. They have made the back printing. We can't do no more.

And the problem that i was telling you earlier, for the ladies cut, the sewing line affects the front crane print. So i decided to shift it above the sewing line same goes with the boys' shirt. And also, with the shifting to the middle instead of starting from the right. This is due to the ladies cut. That is the reason why Jesrick wanted me to see him immediately. If you still don't get what i was trying to say, see me :p

I was informed that maybe the shirt will finish by this saturday or this monday. Insyaallah our shirt lawa nanti~ Toodles!

Syah and I have finally wrapped up everything this afternoon. So guys, this is the final draft. Jesrick told me that this is the first shirt he designs unique kind of way. Was surprised of that. And oh, i would like to say a big thank you to Mydah, Atul, Fizz and Syah for acompanying me to Aewon for making this shirt successful and also thanks to all the CE members as well for the brilliant ideas you came up with and the great contribution to this shirt. Mydah, Atul, Fizz and Syah, wait for my treat. I mean what i say.

So guys, please pay as soon as possible because i am paying up everything on monday afternoon after lecture class. The total of the payment is B$799 with a deposit of B$250 by means of B$17 per person. And one important thing, whoever wants to add up some number printing or word, you better decide before the payment because Jesrick told me that once the shirt is done, if you tend to send the shirt for the printing, he will charge B$3 instead of a dollar. In other words, he charges a dollar only for the extra printing and B$3 if you try to send it there again for the second time. So yeah, do it before they producing it.

Shirt update

Syah, Atul, Fizz and myself went to Aewon today and discussed about the red polo CE shirt. So i've asked every details that needed to be asked. The final draft will be uploaded soon probably this friday as we will be going there again for confirmation. So basically, the proposed quote is cancelled, our names with the Civil Engineering 23 title will be shifted from front to the back side. Your name will be bolded. And the front side would be just the drawings consisting of three printed colors; Black for the crane, grey for the buildings and white for the sun rays with fading effects. Again, the picture will be uploaded soon. Don't worry.

Jesrick, the artworker agrees to charge the shirt for B$17 per person. There will be an addition of dollar to:

Long sleeve - B$ 2
3/4 sleeve - B$ 1
Printed number at any position (one side) - B$ 1
Printed word behind colar - B$ 1

Canceled & New Quotes.

The event for this saturday 12th September, 2009 has been CANCELED.


I looked up two new quotes from the internet last night.

Please give comments on this. Which do you prefer number one or number two or neither of these two? Or we stick to the majority last quote " The road to success is always under CONSTRUCTION "?

Simple and inventively design.

The picture above was drawn in draft. The names that appears on the front shirt is actually not that much. I've counted more than 400 names which exceeds our CE mates.
What you see in the picture was not the real product. Also, the Civil Engineering font is supposed to be lower. As i say this is just a draft. I wish for no complain after what i've done with my piece. But i do accept for ideas (alteration or could be addition to it) that satisfy the changes. But that depends how it might suit the transformation latter. All i want this shirt to be clean, simple and innovative.

Our names i included in the print was to bring the idea of remembrance so that in the future we all could remember all of us, how we go through the pains together etc. And i shall not put the names on the back. This might enable stranger from behind to read our names etc. Of course you yourself would agree what i'm trying to clarify here. Some of us, had this idea of putting the Civil Engineering font shifted from the front to the back, right above the quote. That, i shall go to Aewon again and ask him to print for a new one for us to decide which one is preferable and by then i'll ask him to do the real picture of our printed names of the front shirt too.

Furthermore, some of us also want to exclude the quote at the back of the shirt. So any opinion on that? Quote or no quote? Or do you have any nicer quote that you might came up with.

And there are some who want to include printed number on the right sleeve. That is open to individual whether he or she wants to have number on their shirt. I shall ask the shop how much they charge for addition print.

Owh yeah, speaking of charge, the red polo shirt is worth $16 for 45 people. The lesser the buyer, the more expensive it gets. But so far, what i've done with the list that has been distributing in class, pretty tolerable of us interested in buying the shirt i must say. I'm not forcing a person to buy it. It's up to you. But the more people buying it, the less the payment. The payment i have to put it on hold until next month. Once the next allowance is out, i won't hesitate no more on delaying the shirt. Mark my words.

This friday, 11th September i'm going to Aewon to discuss more on the shirt and i am asking them to start sewing the shirt a week before the next month. I'm sure this shirt will be a nice product.

For the ladies, i would say i recommend you NOT to have a long sleeve because this is a polo shirt. Won't look good trust me.

Please be coperative when i start to collect money. I have given you until early next month. So save your money and collaborate together people.

p/s: The ladies have made their own shirt. Congrats on the triumph. Lucky you the plan perfectly went well without any objections and critisms. Can't wait to have mine! And Syah is trying to create a coat with a hood or just the coat. If interested, better save money for it too which i bet it would be more expensive because it's a coat daaa~ :p. I don't mind having one though.
